Siobhan is a Counselling Psychologist (Registrar) who is passionate about delivering client-centred care and forming strong therapeutic relationships with her clients.
Siobhan has a special interest in working with people who have experienced complex trauma, and regularly incorporates EMDR Therapy into her practice with her clients. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.
Siobhan’s therapeutic approach is influenced by the client’s preferences and presentation all while incorporating models that are evidence-based. She is experienced in working with cognitive-behavioural therapy, existential therapy, interpersonal therapy and attachment-based psychodynamic approaches, and likes to tailor interventions to suit the client’s individual personality.
