Monica has over 20 years experience working with clients. Previous roles have included Clinical Lead for Road Trauma, WA and Telethon Speech and Hearing and has also worked for Safecare and The Collie Family Centre. She has worked in her own Private Practice for 17 years both in Victoria and Western Australia. She provides services for adults, families, adolescents and children. Monica is Convenor of the Australian Psychological Society’s Child Sexual Abuse Special Interest Group and a faculty member of the Australian Training Institute for Child Sexual Abuse Treatment (ATICSAT). She has specialist training in EMDR and Clinical Hypnosis. She provides supervision and training for practicing psychologists and other health practitioners including police, first responders and doctors. She has been providing individual and group psychological treatment for individuals who have committed child sexual abuse or are at risk of doing so throughout her years of practice. She is an experienced practitioner in the areas of trauma and sexual abuse and author of “You, Me and a Cup of Tea- Breaking the cycle of child sexual abuse.”
Her area of expertise is trauma, specifically people who have offended against others or who have experienced child sexual abuse.
